Emily Aoibheann

Director and Head Tutor at Creation Aerial
Emily is at the vanguard of a generation of emerging artists. She manages the precariousness of being an experimental circus artist with intrepidness, smart planning and a deep commitment to her artistic evolution. Ever pushing her practice and expanding the possibilities for circus practice in Ireland, her dynamic and exciting plans for the coming years promise to lead the artist on a path of discovery and creation. Her work crosses disciplines and breaks formal conventions and practices; her pursuits are not those of the commercial or populist circus. She’s at the edge of the practice, making work of great aesthetic value.

Monika Palova

Aerial Instructor
Monika grew up in the northern part of Slovakia, in a small town surrounded by mountains. She spent most of her early life outdoors in nature, running through forests and climbing mountain peaks, oftentimes disappearing for days :) She moved to Dublin at the age of eighteen where she began her coffee career and later studies in medical science.
As an aerialist always looking for new challenges in terms of movement. She recently returned from London’s Gravity Circus School where she completed a professional aerial course, specializing in rope. Since her return she’s been training at the beautiful Creation Aerial studio with Emily Aoibheann, exploring both technical and creative side of aerial and movement in general. She started her aerial journey with trapeze, silks and straps in Taking Flight under Shane Holohan and Jenny Higgins, and later Emmen Jude Donnelly who made her fall in love with the raw beauty of rope.
